Go figure... When you're wanting to get out quick the whole job for hours on end now you show up and you're not worried about how long it takes him I figure you'll get an 8 hour break in a low and behold there lightning quick LOL

I just had to turn down a swap request. Driver has a load going to Dallas. Gave them a list of reasons why the load is no better off being swapped.

    1) Driver is in Kingman. DM says he will be in ABQ in 6 hours. I said yeah right, it's 7 maybe 8 hours with that heavy load, uphill all the way to Flagstaff, and contruction. He would have to average 80mph to get here in 6 hours. I'm also about 20-30 minutes from most truck stops in ABQ.

    2) Due to the fact that once you get past Amarillo, US287 goes through a bunch of small towns which slows you down. So, I wouldn't be able to maintain an average speed to run 660 miles.

    3) Even if the driver makes it to ABQ by 1530 central, any later would mean OTD not happening, I could make it to the Ft. Worth yard, do a break but then that would give me less than 2 hours to negotiate construction and traffic through two major cities. If I try to make it in one driving shift, then I run the very real possibility of running out of hours while driving through two major cities.

The secret to getting in and out at Los Lunas is simple. Get a 3 a.m. appt. They haven't had a chance to fall behind as that's the 1st appt avail. Get a late evening appt, 2000 or 2100. They'll get you done fairly quickly as they have to be done for the day and will get you out b4 their shift ends.

Okay before I lose my mind on this does anybody else have a problem with vibration between 55 and 65 when hauling an empty or Light trailer only. I don't seem to have the vibration when fully loaded. And if I do it's greatly reduced

Nope. Is the vibration in the steering wheel or seat? Vibration felt in the steering wheel indicates a problem somewhere in the front end. Felt in the seat, problem in the back in of truck.

It's seat, I know its in the back somewhere. Dealership found my drive line out of balance but still got it. I thought maybe it's the trailers since my 14 had a similar vibration but not near as bad.

The only way to determine if the trailer I'd causing the problem is to drive bobtail at the speeds you feel it.

If the problem never shows, then it was the trailer. Are you sure the airbags are properly inflated on the trailer?

I'm leaning towards truck honestly. I was just throwing a shot in the dark about the trailer being the problem. It occors with every trailer but at varying degrees.
