I am incredibly sorry you see it like that and it is not the case. We have polled our drivers on many occasions and this is what they prefer. Our drivers are well informed, before they come in, of our status and how we pay. I hope you have a good day!

How much is the interest rate paid on your drivers' $300 while you hold it?

There is no interest rate on a deposit.

But you can bet your ### TDS is earning interest on that money while it is "held" in escrow.

So do the drivers have the option to avoid the the 1099? Or the $300 deposit...
And NO the 1099 is not in the best interest of ANY driver

    rocknroll81 and alghazi Thank this.

Since when was a 1099 job better than a job where the employer pays the taxes, pays the workmans comp??
Now if a person signed on their own trk. ,yes 1099, but not driving your trk. being dispatched by your company
This is just a cheap way to avoid taxes and workmans comp.
Any true professional company would do this..
Kinda like, the big boys do. Roadway, UPS, Swift, JB. Hunt etc...

    rocknroll81 and alghazi Thank this.

Actually, 1099 is illegal if the driver does not have the ability to control where they go with the truck and when, among other things. One call to tip off the IRS about this company, and they're going to have some explaining to do...

Because there are always two sides to every story, we encourage company representatives to offer rebuttals to negative threads about their companies. The only caveat is that they do it professionally and without advertising or recruiting. Unfortunately, TDST Recruiter has stepped over the line with the advertising/recruiting in this thread. Consequently, some posts have been removed and TDST Recruiter is no longer available to answer any questions.

    rocknroll81 and Lonesome Thank this.

    Guys & gals...
As you can see for yourself these people are full of good answers
They openly admit to being a 1099 company....
They also admit, they expect a $300 deposit, (we all know what that means)

    Liltrkrbabe Thanks this.
