Been reading the survey results. Some pretty good comments, some pretty dumb ones, and some pretty funny ones. Who asked for the masseuse? Wish I had thought of that.

Getting this bloody mess meat load off my truck now... Looks like a massacre happened in the trailer... I was parked last night for my 10 and thought I was leaking red antifreeze... Nope... Blood coming out of the weep holes in the reefer.
Don't pick up till tomorrow late afternoon in St Cloud.
I have a 'Supersnackbar Special' with 2 pick ups and 4 drops...but it sets me up for a load to the house for Next Friday.... Also gets me 2500 miles in 6 days headed into the house...
Beach time coming quick......

 

Do y'all ever have loads to McAllen or Harlingen TX?

 

And as for me getting back to the Cities...the last 2 loads I have had out of Ashley's zone have been 4 stoppers...including that last one that was the load from HE##. Although not as bad as a load like @ncmickey had. And now I have a 2 stop load, flavored seltzer water. It was originally suppose to deliver Friday around Philly, but Jeremy called and asked if I could make Philly by 1700 today(Thursday)...no problem as long as I get loaded quick. 30 minutes yesterday in and out. Delivered to Philly by 1330, (that's Jackson TN to Memphis then in Philly in 30 hours)but, the other stop couldn't take their 5 pallets until tomorrow, an no place to park near there, so I deadheadded all the way to Bordentown. That's 2 4-stop loads, a 2-stop and 5300 miles on this weeks miles. Then a Dover to IL and a restart. (I need it, been going nutz on recap hours) I planned on home time next weekend, but unless Joey has something to FL, I may be a day or three late. Although they have pulled a rabbit out of their hat before, so I'm not giving up hope just yet

 

I hope I didn't screw myself. Was running on recap. Wanted to get a restart and load Friday but Nick called and asked if I could do a KC load. It delivers Satuday morning. I hope they can reload me on a weekend.

 

Been an amazing week.

Picked up in Quincy WA Friday for a Wed AM delivery in Allentown, PA, total of 3350 paid miles, picked up in Dover at the PPG for Auburn, Il for another 975 miles, all in one week. Joey found me a load Saturday from Iowa to Valley City, for another 700ish miles, delivering Monday, when my recap will start looking grim, so I'll head over to fargo, get the truck into the shop for some MUCH overdo work and take a 34.

Oh, and on the way home last week, this is what greeted me at dawn as I pulled into the Teddy Roosevelt rest area in ND:
