You are correct a 20% surcharge. I know a couple of years ago Wal-Mart was starting people at $15 a hour to be a greeter

 

I was waiting on a phone call from the office because of the extra charge. I was heading to Bismarck for a Coke load, but found out later that we actually have a charge location in Bismarck.

 

Yeah hits home with me, I have found myself more frequently avoiding staying at CR unless I know one of the drivers I keep in touch with will be there.

To often I have also ended up cleaning a toilet before I could use it, could be a mechanic I realize, but there are down who just expect others to clean up after them...

 

Unless you wait 2 days, on time, at their location, for a drop and hook, get denied max detention for 2 days, and get paid 1 layover.

 

I feel your pain about the bathrooms in CR. Walked in to the CR handicap stall once and discovered somebody apparently had a runny projectile... you get the picture. They had splattered on the rim and under the seat. Of course they couldn't be bothered with wiping it off, that's somebody else's job.
I always carry Clorox wipes with me whenever I'm planning some sit down time with a toilet. I cleaned it for 2 reasons. 1) I had the disinfecting wipes and it's the right thing to do. 2) I didn't want to walk back out of that bathroom and someone think I did that.

Ever since then and now hearing about the toilets left clogged, I'm waiting for the day somebody leaves a pee bottle right in the middle of the parking lot.

 

Getting unloaded at Americold in Fort Worth right now. Picking up at Tulsa Cold tomorrow going to GSF in Mccook IL. Anybody know of a hiding place near that GSF? Apparently the local Walmarts aren't too truck friendly and the only truck stop close by is pay to park which I'd only use as a last resort.

Called the after hours number got the same old "if it's not a dire emergency we'll deal with it tomorrow."

Don't know why we have after hours numbers. Nothing is ever done after hours.

 

They gradded and oiled the lot in Gaylord. Smoother. With no dust. Picking up here with a Sysco load to Norman, OK. Will switch with a driver near KC for a load going to Loveland. Home time and to celebrate our 32 anniversary.

 

Greater Chicago 55 is your best bet. Just pay the 10 bucks and Magnum will reimburse you. It's 17 miles
