park about 25 feet from a building/wall. You want the ground to be level and be square with the wall. Measure the distance from the ground to the center of the glass on the lights. Grab a piece of tape and mark the wall.
Now turn your headlights on and see where they hit the tape. Adjust the lights so they hit just below the tape and slightly to the right. The darker the better it is, also do one light at a time by un plugging a light or covering it with a towel.
A closed scale works good, just drive up to the side of the side of the barn.
