True story. My old route was 20% dock, 70% tailgate, then the rest was liftgate or inside deliveries. They booted me a few months back. My new route sucks...
Now moving half a dozen pallets of beer (2,600+ lbs) every other day with a manual jack. Another thing that will make your day suck is if your dock crew loads a heavy item or two on pallets that have a configuration that is not compatible with your pallet jack.
I'm 35 but LTL is kicking my A.

If I'm not mistaken, R&L drivers have to buy their own.
