@supersnackbar - My wife, and I own a home so that will not be a problem. I may not see it often, but it does exist.

@w.h.o. - I know glass goes into Mexico, and into Canada, but I was under under the impression that refrigerated worked border to border, and out east. Would not be the first misunderstanding I have had in my lifetime.

Driven, it's called "recap" on your logs. You'll have to learn to drive an average of 8.5hrs/day to get the 70 done in 8 days, then start picking up the hours, just cruise along. I think some dispatchers expect a certain amount of miles per day that might eat some clock, requiring a reset, but a reset once in a while is not such a bad thing, but it can be a pain depending on where you happen to be at the time.
Generally speaking, some drivers stay out for months, so it's completely available. Best. -

Some drivers live in their truck. I don't belive any company that has sleeper trucks will force u to go home. They will want u to take a 34 hour reset from time to time, but that can be done anywhere. U could always request hometime in different cities. Maybe see ur brother in Dallas, dad in Phoenix, one of ur girlfriends in Seattle.
