I have the option of either out of West Memphis OC. Tanker is regional in the south, Family dollar dedicated is also same area more or less. Both home weekends. Both, I can park at the OC which is only 24 miles from house.

I hauled a gas for about 4 years and family dollar sound a lot like getting into some of the stations we had to go to, dealing with cars in the way and cars driving around you while backing in off the street.

I have been driving since 2000 but have been off last 2 1/2 years, Schneider says they will consider experience for the last 10 years. Say they only need 1 year in last 10 years, anybody know for sure about that?

I am reading through threads related to both, but if anybody has any experience, especially running out of West Memphis please share good and bad. I was considering Quality Carriers but they don't have any openings at any terminals near me, Memphis, Magnolia, Winfield....Thanks

And it's not the work or backing as much as the uncontrolled environment getting into these store with a 53'. Not so bad with a pup but a sleeper and 53. When I hauled gas I could look our the back glass and have a lot more visibility. One minute no cars behind you, next minute somebody is parked behind you. Funny thing is we also hauled to drilling rigs, the make you us a spotter before backing and there wouldn't be anything even close.
