I cook in the truck occasionally. Really need to do it more often. All I have is a microwave and Aroma cooker right now. But that cooker sure can make some tasty meals. I used crock pot liners it so I don't have to wash it.

Just finished a short haul from South Plainfield, NJ to Bedford, OH. The load wasn't even on the truck for 12 hours.

If anybody is unlucky enough to pick up at Halls Whse in NJ, make sure you have your walking shoes, your trucks registration, and patience. Dozens of trucks lined up down the street. The blue dot in the picture is the gps mark of my tablet where I had to park. Those are rail cars for scale. Half way on the hike to the guard house there was a sign about needing truck registration. Back to the truck. Once at the guard house, it was a line of approximately a dozen drivers and a 30 minute wait. Once actually checked in they gave me a range of doors, back into an empty one. Hike back to the truck. Once in the gate and backed in a door you are instructed to go inside and wait by your dock door for someone to acknowledge your existance. In my case that was another 15-20 minutes. Cold warehouse on a hot day after a hike felt kinda nice. The loading itself was pretty quick.

    I still hate New Jersey.

Yea, after your first time at Halls Warehouse it's pretty easy. I'm jealous you getting all those Jersey runs.... Such a beautiful State with the best food!!
I know your sick of it! So once your back in Minn or Fargo ask for something different... You've earned your Jersey wings now.. !!!

Even with the hassle of the Halls facility itself, this load wasn't bad. The Elizabeth/Newark load I did a couple of weeks ago has just forever tainted me for running NJ.

Picking up at PPG in Huron this evening. I haven't got the load offer yet but according to Joey it's at least going to MN and possibly ND.

That's a nice load. I did it last week. Mine had 2 stops in MN and 2 stops in Fargo. I got them all off in 1 day and that was with starting in South Beloit.

I can understand the dislike of Jersey. But I grew up there so I know the road system. I'd go there any day of the week over Atlanta or Dallas.... But that's just a personal preference... I can visit family there too.

Sitting in Jamestown to get unloaded and reloaded. Then I am dropping that in the Fargo Yard. Then to the shop AGAIN for the same lighting problem I have had fixed 4 times previously. Also my APU is dead....

Reload going back to Idaho tomorrow eve in Grand Forks. Coulda went to Texas... But I am digging the 70 and 80 degree weather...

So it was your load that Chad sent to the whole fleet yesterday.

I delivered to one of the best customers we go to. Go Fresh Produce in Tulsa. I have been there twice, both times they greet you with a smile, unload you quick and thank you for stopping by. Truly a pleasant place to deliver. A little tight for a parking lot, but I haven't been there longer than 30-40 minutes unloading, even when they're busy. (See, I can be pleasant ONCE in a while)
