Open deck usually unless he went over to the reefer side

Maverick never ask me where I parked my truck. Just told us if u drop your trailer to go home, put a kingpin lock. Obviously if you park in a dangerous place, u might be responsible.

    Op where do you live?

    Define dangerous.

An angry dispatcher has been properly submissive after a threat to leave the 18 wheeler inside south or east Philly, Camden or deep into the Bronx.

Stuff like if the trailer sink in the mud, break in, etc there's a small paragraph in the handbook about it.

Steep is not a problem. You can do 24 top about 31% on a big truck as I have loaded. It will scare the bejesus out of you to understand the end of your rig is approximately either 90 feet below your eyes or higher than your eyes in the cab.

Well what i did, and what i suggest is look around for a small business that has a dock, and hopefully a chunck of wall next to that dock thats easy to get to. Make a deal with the owner say 100 bucks per hometime or something. bump the wall next to the dock, (keeps inside the trailer safe) put a pin lock on, and take your tractor home.

Funny story when I was working part time on a transport ambulance, they where running us raged while all other trucks had eaten lunch.(Normally I wouldn't complain but was on my 33 hr of working and these are PRE SCHEDULED runs) So told them was gonna park the ambulance on the south side of town, and go to lunch. They asked for current location (guessing they wanted to come get the truck) I said "I told you on the south side of town" (which is only about 40 square miles with HUNDREDS of streets.) Shocking how fast they CLEAR you for lunch.
