And I got a call from Tony this AM, apparently some of my lobbying/ advertising Magnum might finally payoff. Spoke with a driver in Mt. Vernon, Il. a week or so ago and he called and spoke with Tony and as far as I know is submitting an application and hopefully will be starting sometime in the near future....

Sitting here in Tacoma, Wa. waiting to unload my second drop, that's scheduled for 1700 this evening.

I wish I would get a phone call. After I found out that my truck is ready last Thursday, I have sent messages to all dispatchers about my need to get it picked up and I have reminded Chad 3 times that I need to get to Fargo to get it (that is 3 times since Ashley left on Friday since he is covering her area), including AFTER getting empty this morning. Yet I am still sitting here waiting for any word. Each time I had to explain WHY to him all over again. So who knows how many times I have been bypassed for LTL loads headed that way. These people are making Crete's operation department look like a Mensa meeting.

It's not just you, it sometimes takes an act of congress to get a trip to Fargo, especially with Ashley out. I'd give Chad another call to remind him unless he told you he's working on it and you might end up sitting until they can get you a load or relay.

I guess these college educated people have never been taught how to use post-it notes. I did him a favor by running a dropped load this morning so I had something to do...and the thanks I get is being forgotten...that's the last "favor" I do. I guarantee that if a member of that office requested time off, they wouldn't forget, no matter how many decided to go on vacation at the same time

My phone call from him this morning. I screwed up and didn't cover 2 loads for today.

Dropped off in Portland this morning and have a1600 pickup in Centralia WA heading for Minot. It's a broker load with a delivery time of 0800 on 3 Aug, yeah that's gonna need to be rescheduled lol...

Great month in July to help cover what will be a short month in Aug as I take some time off, it's been a long but productive summer and I am ready to take the kid to school and get back to more of a normal schedule.

Hopefully the miles stay strong, it's nice being able to keep moving, I was secretly hoping to sit tonight and have another day off...

You know @supersnackbar I saw you driving by once and wouldn't have thought you were that flexible...ah you were referring to dispatch. My bad :).

All kidding aside hope they get you to Fargo tomorrow.
