It's not Iron Skillet's fault. It is the drivers who don't wash their hands after, ummm, wiping, then go handle the community utensils at the buffet who get everyone else sick.

hmm believe or not I've stood and watched the sinks or sink. most tend to wash up after. there are a few that don't. but it's not all about truck driver's, customers for auto fuel and what have you take some of that blame on, also seems other's watch for it as well. yep I'm not the only one.

with all of the drivers not eating at the truckstops . were do you plan to eat at when on the road . i'm sure that that most resturants will love having a 53ft trailer on their parking lot .

    Which Skillet?
I have 0 problem with Iron Skillet.
The only time I ever got sick, and I mean wtf food poisoning sick was from the T/A on the west side of OKC when it was called something chophouse. It was a T/A, but that was before they all became Country Pride. 48 hours, I was bad sick.

I love the skillet though. Aside from J corndogs, that's the only truck stop I really care to eat at. Fast food burgers do nothing for me. Same for fast food breakfasts. A chicken or fish sandwich maybe. Arby's could gag a maggot.

I think the independent J's in northwest are good too.

    So which Skillet was it?

That's hilarious a Navy vet complaining about anyone's food lmfao. All you need is a place that serves chicken & rice.

One of the only valid reasons for driving OTR is to stop at Petro / Iron Skillet.

I hate T/A (and Petro for that matter) and rarely ever park at one, but the buffet line at the T/A in Hebron, OH calls my name on Sunday evening. I park at the Pilot across the hwy and walk over there.

    NavigatorWife and Dave_in_AZ Thank this.
