Business insiders say, if you fight the future you will be left behind. The transition has begun. Pushing against it is futile. You either adapt or surrender. OOIDA is pushing against forcing it as a regulation for independents and small businesses. But when many companies adopt it to make use of its technology, it simply becomes part of the industry whether you like it or not. Just remember that businesses require a standardization to implement all accross their business to improve efficiency.

i'm surprised swift isn't in that mix.

pretty sad, these are the companies that made up this b.s catastrophic "driver shortage" to justify hiring unqualified drivers, then they needed to put eld's in the trucks for these same clowns. now they all of us forced onto them to make us all equal. then they say it's all in the name of safety. safety would be hiring, and paying for, better class of driver.

but the real issue here is the asinine hos rule currently implemented.

Thank you bottom feeders, cdl mills that can't find quality drivers that don't know how to do simple math and write a log book. Who need a computer to tell them where theire going to stop and how long they can drive.

DTP, rocknroll81, 12 ga and 3 others Thank this.

Yet another thread about eld, and drivers who can't see the big picture but only what's in front of them. Blind, helpless, and cant figure out that it's the current hos not eld that's the problem. Eld only does what u do on paper into a screen. I done paper, and don't understand the argument.

It's like writing a resume with pen and paper vs typing one up. How low an IQ do people have that don't understand that?

But my ears are open, so please tell me how paper is more benifits than electronic? Oh u can cheat on them? Really? That's sounds like a HOS problem not ELD

If I did not know you well here, I would think you are half teasing us all.

Ever since I joined these forums and got a education on the stuff being shoved down our collective throats... Ive gotten angry for what we have managed to lose or abdicate as a captain of the ship.

    rocknroll81 Thanks this.
