A couple months have gone by. Did the ELD do much damage or am I one of the few grumpy old SOBs that said I ain't going to do it.

Sold out. No regrets, I trucked thru the good old years, with the best flat bed outfit in the USA. It was great. Thank you Mercer #2342 6 months off then #13149

I had a conversation with my coordinator about this right after the 4th of July. About 250 guys tried to play hardball and each and every one was put out of service and not put back on the board until they complied. Of those almost every one caved in. Only a handful ended up quitting over it.

I think I would have to disagree with you about only a handful- I've talked to some people in logs & permits & it was more than a handful.

That's great if your happy- as you seen I said in my opinion & that's what it is. As far as freight goes I know of regular (as in every week) loads mercer has lost & I'm sure some of its their CSA score. I know me and another 4 digit truck that left went to probably the toughest freight area and both got back out for over $2/mile no tarp & under 20000# & traveling this weekend I've seen at least four mercers sitting empty in the truck stops, all I'm saying is I remember those days.

A lot do. Personally i think a mid roof is better suited for pulling a flat.

Stupid question but if I take the brake pedal off nothing will fall off right? Like no seal or anything lol. I wanna clean it as my cruise control is messing up from it.

I do as well but seems to be a lot more condos on the market. Lol. I like the condo just because my wife rides with me & the extra storage space is handy but I do like the looks of the mid roof better.

It wont matter what you start with. In two years you gotta upgrade to a minimum 132 inch bunk.
