So, stupid question for you guys with more OD experience than I...
Maryland curfew is 30 minutes after sunrise and 30 minutes before sunset, but it also states in the book amber lights are required for night travel. There is no size restriction listed in the book for either, so what is allowed to travel at night? I'm not under the load yet, but I'm running a barely OD load over that way and the receiver wants it at 6am. Seeing as how MD curfew laws say I won't be able to drive until 7 am and there does not appear to be anywhere near there to park, I'm trying to figure out how this is supposed to happen.
I assume I will either be permitted for night travel or have to get the receiver to crap me a parking place in the middle of town or inform they will have to take it later. I know all of that will get sorted out tomorrow, not really too concerned.
I guess my question is more, where does MD draw the line on what can move at night and what can't? Like I said, I'm not too concerned, I know we will work it out between the customer, OD, and myself, I'm just curious in the mean time since it's after hours and I can't call. -
