Spent Saturday night in Coon Rapids with the coolest gangster related New Jersey Yankee I know lmao.
Finally found the blinker light that was giving me grief and replaced it.
Drove to Fargo yesterday morning. Dropped my load on the yard and picked up a trailer and headed to Jamestown.
I was the only truck at Jamestown. They loaded me a day and a half early! I asked them where everyone was. They said they had 17 trucks scheduled yesterday and as of noon 5 were already late and hadn't called. I said "that was nice for me but not you!"
On the way back I got stuck in some traffic around St Cloud, in the construction area. Spent an hour trying to get through.
Had a headlight blow between St Cloud and Rogers. It's nice that the truck tells you.
Made it back to the CR yard with about 30 mins left on driving and on duty time.
Went to little Mexico across the street last night and got my belly full again!
Leaving out this morning headed toward Fairborn, OH. Probably stop at @ncmickey Indiana and have a nice steak! Maybe I can be nicer and post a pic instead of gobbling it down like a hog! -
Mr. Bacon, or if I may call you Pig
, check out this pizza joint in Chicago. I've stopped there a few times, and since I don't know what chicago style pizza is, I can only say it's good. AND...you can get a truck there. You see in the pic a truck parked where I circled. That street is truck-friendly, though you do have to park in a no parking zone. Go in the back for take out...call order in about 30 mins early. You're in & out so quickly, no worries about the no parking sign. Just offering my .02 cents.

Got a live one here folks! I can't take credit for its discovery. That honor goes to @ncmickey.
He's told me many times to make a stop by here. I haven't really had the opportunity to stop previously, without giving up miles.
Actually pulling off a reset here because I could fit one in. Or is it because this place is one of my Top 2 places for a steak?
The place I speak so highly of is Montgomery Steakhouse in Spiceland, Indiana.
Plenty of parking. You can park in their lot, (as long as you park on the side out of vehicles way,) across the street at an independent station, at Mr Fuel, or the Flying J.
I had my sights on the NY Strip!
This place doesn't play around. Their potatoes are massive! Is that a nerf football on my plate? Nope, just a really huge potato!
When it arrived I asked for A1. Only because it's a habit. I took the first bite and said Oh Yeah! Very well cooked. Very tender and moist. Very well seasoned and lots of flavor. My tongue was doing somersaults.
I told the bartender she could put the A1 up because I wouldn't be needing it. Her response "I didn't think you would!"
It has a nice comfy atmosphere. The staff are friendly. The females are top notch. The drinks are cold and the food is out of this world!
This place is somewhere I would recommend everyone to stop.
@supersnackbar I didn't see you there but would love to buy you dinner here!txtodd, ncmickey, 4mer trucker and 2 others Thank this. -

The NY strip was sold out! Tell you anything?
I ordered the Porterhouse. It's a strip and a Filet in one. Again it was excellent. It was the same price, so why not!
Again this place is worth a visit!4mer trucker and Xeres63 Thank this. -
