No, I haven't tried the car mode, but since I haven't changed any of my settings and this just happened after changing my destinations, I doubt that is the problem.

I usually run off the multi-stop option, adding or removing destinations as my loads change. Everything was going fine yesterday until a couple of my loads were cancelled and I was given different loads. I had went in and cancelled everything except the current trip that I was running and entered my new destinations. I had some difficulty with the first one as the unit didn't list the street I needed so I just left it with the one trip I was currently on. After it recalculated, this route problem box popped up and after I hit ok, my current destination was still displayed and when I checked the trip summery slide out, all the stops I had just deleted were still shown, yet when I went back in to delete them again, they were all gone. After I got to my destination, I can add stops, but after it calculates I get this box and no routing information.

Okay,, you did not mention this the first time, so I have to start at box 1.

Until the total route is calculated again the Trip summary will retain last information.

Give me step by step how you are deleting the stops.

Hint, if you build a Multi-Stop, once done with all adds, save it to a trip folder. Then when you add/remove entries do this from the trip folder, not current trip and from the trip folder hit start.

Ok, tried like you said, saved multi trips to a new folder and started from that, same results.

Tried just going with a single entry instead of a multi trip and it worked fine (at least no box popped up), but when I added a second stop I got the same error box.

I'm thinking there may be a corrupted file or something because it just happened all of a sudden and without warning. And it only seems to affect multi stop trips. I guess I can continue to use it one trip at a time, but I really like the multi stop feature as it helps me plan out my trips and days.

Like I said before, I have not updated it recently, would it help if I tried to update it? Or run a diagnostic from the dock?

PM me your Origin, 1st stop, 2nd stop.

It could be a corrupted DCA (map file).

I can tell you how to do an MD5 to check or I can have you Fake the unit out and get a new download of map files. PM me on this.

I had the same question a while back. Mark asked me to pm him and all I could find was how to start a "conversation". I did that, and I believe he received it. So it appears that they are calling it a "conversation" now. Quite confusing, if you ask me. I have never been good at reading between the lines.....

tnd 730, new as of Thursday. I have owned several models of these over the years so I'm not new to them. my question is: did RM reduce the volume of the speaker by 50%? I can barely hear that it said anything most of the time and when I do hear it, its not loud enough to understand it. Out of the 5 volume bars, the first 3 do virtually nothing, and the last 2 start to get loud enough to hear in a perfectly quite area. Running my old unit and the new unit side by side and the old one is at least twice as loud. I tried resetting the unit and then a diagnostic repair with no change. any help would much appreciated, kind of useless the way it is

The speaker is hardware.. resetting and doing a diagnostic does nothing. That would be like shutting your truck off and then turning back on to fix a flat.

Contact RM Customer Support if still in warranty.

More a firmware OS type of function. If only a few days old where did you buy? If truckstop usually you have a 2 week grace period to exchange.

Update: Returned to a different loves and got a new one, same low speaker volume. Surely someone on here can confirm that this unit has a reduced volume from older units. Or have I been unlucky enough to get two defective units? Really need to get this figured out before im stuck with a unit I can not hear. thx
p.s. tried to live chat with RM and failed, perhaps they will email me.

Mark kling, Diesel boss. So neither of you have you used the 730 and older units? Neither of you have access to db levels of these units? Neither of you can speak to a difference in speaker volume? Im finding it a bit hard to believe to that neither of you can answer that one simple question. RM has not responded to me today either. Guess its all a big secret, sell as many units as we can before people find out...
