Anytime you get a PM service done BEFORE the proper schedule, you're throwing away money. So long as you follow the manufacturer's schedule, your warranty is intact.
Example: Based on 120k year. PM at approx $350 each
@28k is 4.2 PMs. Say 4 PMs comes to $1400.
Follow the schedule and you do 2 in one year for a total of $700.
You're wasting $700 in the 1st 12 months
If you carry that out to a 5 year length it's 21 PMs vs 12, or $3150.

I'd have them check the fuel pickups, I thought I read in this thread earlier that some are being installed with the pickups bent at a 90 degree angle and its choking off he fuel flow in some units. That or the pickup and return is too close together in the tank
Yep, from June.

The issue with mine an enternal bolt came loose and dropped on top of the starter terminals and was shorting the starter (the reason why it was sparking). The alternator had gone bad which is why it wouldn't stay started. They were both replaced. What took so long to figure out was that after putting in brand new parts was why is the problem persisting.
After going through all the wires and checking and testing everything; it turned out to be the alternator again. What was suppose to be new part was in fact a bad part from a new unit that another tech replaced, put back in the box, and then shelved it with the new parts.
It's back up and running again, but the alternator lasting for over 7200 hours is pretty good. If it wasn't for the bolt, the starter would still be good.
Also found out for sure that we have an 8000 hour warranty on the APU's.
