evening all,
I was crushing Craigslist looking for work, I came across an ad for usx dedicated the benefits listed in the ad were as follows:
- Fleet Manager to Driver Ratio 20:1
- Average $1,150/wk!
- $7,500 Sign On Bonus!
- Home Weekly
- Newer Trucks average age 2 years old
- 401K Match
- Great Benefits, including Medical, Dental & Vision
- Paid Orientation
- Pet Policy
- And More! What I'm curious about is how much of this is bs and how much is true. I haven't spoke with them yet, I want to hear from usx drivers first. Also I know usx does dollar accounts which I will never do those again that's awful work

I don't really care about the cameras, as long as they don't bother me about what I do when I'm not driving
-
I saw a similar ad where I live in FL, but it also said "must relocate to IN", maybe that is why there is such a big sign on bonus.
-
There was also an option to relocate but I checked out the website and this was out of Jax

If you do anything they don't agree with while off duty, what makes you think for a second you won't hear about it? -
-
- Fleet Manager to Driver Ratio 20:1 I highly doubt that. USX is too big
- Average $1,150/wk! Absolutely not.
- $7,500 Sign On Bonus! Paid out over a year. If you have HAZMAT
- Home Weekly on some accounts. Note that it's not necessary home on the weekends. It may be Tuesday and Wednesday
- Newer Trucks average age 2 years old seems about right
- 401K Match after one year if I recall
- Great Benefits, including Medical, Dental & Vision medical and dental are alright. Vision is nothing to write home about. I didn't take it.
- Paid Orientation $70 and a sandwich every day.
- Pet Policy I don't have a pet so I didn't pay much attention. I believe they require a deposit but don't quote me on that.
- And More!
