It's still the goal. Saving and reading everything I can
I came home for a bit though so I'm not sure how much that's gonna set me back. My dad broke his arm and couldnt keep up with the farm alone anymore.
Think I'll be heading out again in the next month, my brother will be back home so it'll be his turn to keep up with it now
At least I've learned local work isn't for me, even if it's only been part time driving dumps for a friend

 

It isn't hazing when someone runs their mouth spouting out a bunch of inaccurate info. It's calling them out on their bs lies.

 

Is calling someone a liar when you know they are telling something that isn't true an insult? And does it go both ways? While ideally none of us would react to something someone says to them, all of us fall short of that. In this particular case he reacted to being accused of sleeping with the company owners daughter and being called a paid spokesman. And while he shouldn't have blown his top, it's easy to see why he took the bait.

A permanent ban for taking the bait seems to be pretty extreme. And it also gives the impression that ttr had become little more than a forum for drivers to ##### and moan and complain no matter if it's a valued complaint or not.

 

Hopefully you banned both parties involved. If you only banned the one that "took the bait" you've accomplished nothing except you got rid of a member that provide value to others & allowed a trouble maker to stay. The ones that are "giving out the bait" are here causing problems & shouldn't be allowed to do so.

 

Ok, so I can't believe no one wants this satellite system. If you do, let me know. I'll be in Portland tomorrow, so if I haven't heard anything by then it's too late.

 

If no one else takes it i will on the off chance i ever decide to get back in the truck for more than a few days at a time. But if you can get a hundred bucks for it jump on it. It might be two months before we end up crossing paths.

 

Well that's all fine and dandy. After all you are the one with the power. But from the responses in this thread and the conversations I've had with members here outside of this forum, this instance has ruined your reputation as an unbiased moderator. And is only a matter of time before the rest of us get banned when some cry baby comes here running his mouth blaming the carrier for problems he created.
