They may or may not necessarily prevent freight from sliding off a pallet, depending on whether or not you have a crappy liftgate.
But at least they'll spread the force of a strap, something flatbed drivers know a little something about.

If it is shrink wrapped properly, with the corner protectors, and wrapped around the pallet as well, it's gonna take a hell of a jar to slide them off.
road_runner, Mike2633 and MACK E-6 Thank this. -
Rearranged the entire load this morning.
Someone came up with the bright idea of having leave one town in the middle of the deliveries there to go to another 30 miles further down the road only to come back where I was to finish delivering there.
I'm not working like that.Mike2633 Thanks this. -
I believe that is called, "Dock Brilliance." SMH

Here is a ramble. Has anyone else delivered to the wrong place cause the name and product is identical to another business in town? I did it twice now. Three months ago I had a delivery to Consolidated Electric Distribution (bill said CED). I took it to Cresent Electrical Supplies (CES). Both are within a block of each other and both distribute electrical supplies.
Yesterday did the same thing. Took a bunch of material to Great Falls Fire and Protection.. it was supposed to go to Great Falls Fire and Rescue. Again, both within two blocks of each other...also the same freakin product.Gearjammin' Penguin, Mike2633, Big Don and 1 other person Thank this. -
Otherwise, geographical order please. On the rare occasion that I have to worry about chasing closing times, I'll deal with that when the time comes. -

But what was even better, was that the receiver at Questar actually signed for them.

Encore in down town C-Town there's two of them one at the Agora which is the one we do and one in a hotel I went to the hotel did another stop then was informed I was wrong. Funny thing is they are both on the same street as well on the same side of the street.
road_runner Thanks this. -
Ive delivered to the wrong address of the same company. They are Superior Cleaners, with commercial and retail locations. Its not uncommon to mistake the two, they sometimes order freight for the other. One is a dock unload, the other is a lift gate, where they demand inside delivery, but can't seem to produce the "contract" specifying it.
Mike2633 Thanks this.
