Yeah cause theyre just mostly new drivers that have no idea what it is. If company said its good-it must be. Company said Id be making more money that way, better get on it. They even auto enrolled me, they care so much for me.
Nah, once Ive read their letter I sent in opt out gorm right away.

Us at JJW didnt even get considered for the scam per diem deal. Lol
-
So I guess we're down to two System drivers and one JJW driver.
Interesting. I assumed that was done company wide. Maybe they figure you guys aren't out on the road enough to make it worthwhile. -
Probably not making enough miles for the scheme to be most effective. OTR drivers like me will make them most profit @ 2cpm x how many otr guys they have with company now.

I ran texas for my first 10 months with them. Moved over here to NC back in may. We started a glass fleet. It's actually pretty #### sweet. 60cpm/1000 weekly guaranteed, home wknds. I got fired unfortunately due to losing a glass load. Still don't have anything bad to say. I ###### up. Not their fault. Only bad thing I had was I can't stand Dave Dent. He's a f*****g weasel and has no balls or spine. I lost my load because it was undersecured. He, acting as the terminal/fleet manager for us, knew I was rolling like that. But when we got on a conference call with head of safety, all of a sudden he didn't know ####. #### that guy. Again, still my fault. I chose to keep rolling that way, but even if they wanted to keep me I still would've quit, or at least went back OTR. I can't work for spineless, gutless turds like him.
TokyoJoe Thanks this. -

That 2¢ a mile is nothing compared to what they stand to save on payroll taxes alone.
TokyoJoe Thanks this. -
But they are saving a lot in payroll buy not paying us right to start with. Im missing on average $200 a week in payroll mistakes that I have to have them fix. The only thing Im missing from being and o/o it seems like is the righer wages and my own truck. Which I looking at buying one.
mitmaks Thanks this. -
The "household miles" is another scam. Ive calculated and so far I was not paid for approximately 15,000 miles since Ive been here 2+years. Now multiply that by amount of drivers company has.
I hope you guys feel appreciated with a burnt hot dog once a year thoughTokyoJoe and Roberts450 Thank this. -
The auto in my truck really does suck, except when in the top 2. On anything steeper than 4% it wants to go from 10 to 8. Also when you go below 6 and continue slowing down it gets real jerky. It does have a couple of attributes that make it bearable though. I'm keeping busy in Phoenix but am also looking to get my own truck(not one of theirs). Dave, gotta love him, otherwise...
