Possibly saw one of the dumbest things,since I've been driving tonight.Coming 20 west an MTV driver comes down an on ramp,and flips a uturn onto the interstate.

Anyway @Redtwin go pu you're Gatorade and drop it,no need holding onto it,by the way they'll have another one with your name on it waiting for ya.

 

Every time I get a message to drop at the yard in Wytheville or West Memphis it is always accompanied with a message containing the code.

 

That's something I won't have to deal with. I don't have a passport and no plans on getting one.

 

I have never done a live load there so don't know.

 

There is no company that is right for everyone. Everyone has to find the company that works best for them. I wish you the best of luck wherever you go. Let us know where you end up at.

 

Best of luck man. I started adding to this thread around the time you were starting out with Abilene. Guess not all these companies can suit everyone's needs. I still have yet to actually get into trucking. I am doing a refresher soon and might be going with Schneider. Freymiller couldn't get me any home time so I had to pass on them. Probably for the best.

 

I am in the fence with Freymiller being on my short list, 3 drivers in the past 2 months I have messaged about Freymiller have said getting home time is difficult and never when scheduled, and 2 I know of have left for other companies, the other is looking.

 

I hear they have APUs and good trucks but don't know about pay. I had been in touch with the recruiter since end of August and she kept saying they had no trainers. Then beginning October was told where I live would not allow home time.. so I had to decline the job. I'm guessing carriers that go full 48 state would be tough for drivers wanting home time.
