Pigbacon's Pig Pen: Magnum Ltd, Fargo, ND

I did a 34 at the TA in Tanner, WA this past weekend. Right across the street attached to the Gull station is a little place called Hammer Lane BBQ and Grill. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich with their medium sauce, a side of mac n cheese, and a side of slaw. The sandwich is made with a french roll instead of a traditional bun and I really liked that. It was real good but not mind blowing. What I had was around $11 which for being accessible to a truck stop could be considered reasonable. Considering the only other choices there are Popeyes and Country Pride, I would stop by there again. Next time I will probably try their shredded brisket sandwich and the bbq beans.

When I run longer loads I do the 30 minute logging, but when they get in these short load moods I log it as I do it.
It keeps me from working 14 hours a day every day.
And we get detention after 2 hours no matter how we log.

Just ate at the Chamelot Inn Resturant and Lounge across from the Pilot at exit 49 on I-70 in Higginsville, MO.
Pretty 'aged' place. I was the ONLY customer in there the entire time I was there.
BBQ!!!

I had the two meat two side meal. I had the pulled pork and beef brisket. Both were well cooked and smoky in flavor. So tender I had a hard time getting it to stay on the fork!! The BBQ sauce was served on the side and was real good. Not too sweet. I had the fries, well done, and Coke slaw. Both were good. Fries were perfect and the cole slaw was above average...
This plate was $15.95... Which I thought was a bit steep...
Overall it's a very good KC BBQ spot. The food is outstanding! Place could use a good renovation. It looks like a dump from the outside too... Lol There is truck parking and the Pilot is across the street. Beats Subway and McD's any day.
Give it a try drivers!! And Tracy the bartender is real cool....
