I will try to keep this short and sweet. and i will fail.
Moved to TX a year ago and teamed with schneider for a year. things started going south and yada yada. now im back in south florida for financial reasons. i have a clean record but i forgot how terrible south florida was for trucking jobs. and frankly any jobs.
So any advice tips or leads for south florida? any companies down here? Im trying to find a half decent one that i can stick with for a year at least. And lately i have been wondering if i should just say #### it and just make a list of the companies here and just try them until i find a good fit. My thought process has been i dont want to waste my time by going to a company that isnt going to work out. but i am currently wasting time by not being at any company. would there be negative consequences if i go to a couple companies that dont work out? or would it be better long term to find one that i can stick with for some time?
thanks for reading and any advice given.
any advice for south florida?

Florida Beauty is the first one to come to mind. Your best bet is to really beat the bushes for local jobs
What endorsements etc do you have. How far South in Florida? -
Look on the south FL Craigslist. There are always plenty of trucking jobs being advertised. Florida Beauty does team runs to California. Might be a nice gig if they pay you at least 25cpm for all miles the truck rolls.

But beware of 1099 companies unless you ave insurance already.

i have tanker and hazmat and a twic card and am in homestead (southest south fl on the mainland). i got tanker and twic for blaylock since they wanted me but they dont have an opening. i forgot it was the slow season. i have looked at craigeslist but alot of it is well... very shady looking. and i dont have the knowhow or experience to really sift through it. that and alot want bilingual/spanish only with 10yr exp.
ill look into florida beauty though. never heard of them. -
