Running with JCT, Part Deux

7 people, Ocheleta. Yeah that's 45 min right there.

 

So settling in for a 24hr wait at Tyson in Olathe. Got comfy clothes on, refreshing beverage, and CPU fired up to watch football and/or rednecks turning left. Would it be the epitome of laziness to order food delivery to the bobtail lot here? Sure I could line 5 somewhere...but i'm lazy....

 

Why not? I had food delivered to me in Washington before, while sitting at an Apple cooler.

 

A matter or practicality, no ... heck, I was at restaurant that took too long, so I ordered in a pizza.

 

5.5 hours after my appt the pager goes off. Had OS&D on 6 different BOLs. At least they kept everything so I didn't have to deal with that.

Now I'm at the yard waiting to get my 1st PM for this truck. Sure I'll be here till Tuesday.

 

Consider the hassle of driving, the fuel cost involved, albeit very minimal, finding a place......a phone call is sooooo much easier.

 

When I'm at the terminal...I cant stop the siren call of Whataburger...it just goes there bobtail on its own, I'm just along for the ride.

 

when I teamed at swift the guy I was with loves that place. It helped his wife owned one. He always had free burger coupons. He could get that rig in some crazy places to get to a Whataburger. He also would go to this little Mexican joint in some tiny place that made the most amazing soppahias filled with meat .

 

Now THAAAAT sounds tasty

 

It was amazing but I can never find the place. His English is not that great and my Spanish is just as bad lol. One day ill get him to take me there in a car and ill save it on my GPS lol
