Tired of getting layoffs so I thought two years back that I would give trucking a try. Didn't, got a lay off coming up yet again. Kicking myself in the ### as I now have to start the whole process again. What has y'alls experience been? That is those that started at that age. I'm in pretty good shape, not obese but, not a track star either.

I just started at the age of 47 only local though. Well kinda regional as I'm in all New England states along with NY, NJ. But home every night. I don't think I could handle long haul though.

I live in Rockport, Texas. Looking at local out of Corpus Christi or closer. If that's even possible.
