1st time I saw that I was like U gotta be kidding. ..this guy's on the road and can't figure it out. ..WOW

 

Guilty! I did not read through the whole thread honestly. But that is one ugly KW. Horrible paint. That is the deal breaker for why the cop gave him a ticket...If it was Midnight Blue with chrome and chicken lights he would have skated fer sure...

 

Actually I do check depending on the circumstance. My Rand McNally GPS gives Walmart locations and says whether overnight parking is allowed or not. It also often says contact manager. It is wildly inaccurate regarding this stuff. So if I am in a bind I will use a Walmart but I often call or will walk inside and ask. It is surprising but often I have been told that it is fine to park despite signs saying trucker bog off. I have even questioned the signs and they say that they were placed by a previous manager or that they couldn't care less. Pays to ask to be on the safe side.

He said that this was in Pennsylvania. They charge more than that just to get out their ink pen to write the ticket.

 

Sheesh...They are so hard. I got a parking ticket while on home time. I was bobtail also. My mom said I could park there and it's their property but I still lost and had to pay. How do you win this game?

 

Park in a legal parking space? As you found out not only do you need the property owner's permission, you need to make sure any government body doesn't disallow it, as well as any possible HOA or the like.
