You only slowed after the Kennesaw truck wanted to allow a single car to get on through in the hammer lane. Then you "entertained" us with why you thought he was being discourteous for passing you, a slower vehicle.

Truckers that pass you while holding up a minimum of traffic aren't being discourteous. You are being discourteous by not facilitating the pass.

Breaking news: you aren't the most important person on the road.

Scottie all your videos appear to be the same, "I'm right, everyone else is wrong" mentality that you seem to carry. Id bet a lot of money that the tables in this situation are often turned and your the one playing the snail in the hammer lane. Of course you aren't going to film that version for us to see. I'm wondering if your having to push it so hard trying to make that fleece payment you have over your head now days?

if you go back and watch I did slow down to help this guy pass lol, the audio of the video notwithstanding. He would have been next to me all day if I hadn't slown down. He was discourteous when he tried to slow down further on me when he got ahead of me. I went out to the fast lane to encourage him to get on his way, while at the same time maintaining my own speed.

Three days after I posted this video, ATA withdrew their support for the Speed Limiter Mandate

Didn't you have a wide open truck before you went to work for JCT?

Was running a superload through Nebraska on a 2 lane. Had 3 cattle barons running hard coming up behind my rear car.

Six: How about them bullwagons coming up behind the big oversized. Got it on?
    Bullwagons: Yeah, cmon.
Six: Give me a straight stretch of road, and I'm gonna back it down and you on by. 10-4?
    Bullwagons: 10-4!
Six: Hey One, got it on?
    One: Yessir.
Six: Holla back when the roads clear.
    One: It's clear for miles.
Six: 10. Bullwagons, bring it on around, I'm backing out
    Bullwagons: Coming around ya, oversized.

And I drop my speed, and they put the hammer down. They pass me in nothing flat.
    Bullwagons: Thanks again oversized.
Six: 10-4. Have a good day and a better tomorrow.

Some people live in small universes. They are the center of their own universe, the alpha and omega. The problem with living in such a small universe is that every problem you face, even the smallest most insignificant of issues, threatens to wipe your universe out of existence. The alpha and omega's existence in jeopardy because someone flicked a booger out their window? Your very being, your way of life, your paycheck is in danger if you back out of it and allow someone to pass? Is your world really that fragile and insignificant?

Did you know, that everything is connected? I've often said, there isn't one big difference between the drivers on top and the average drivers, but a million little differences. This thread ties in with the one about allowing traffic to merge when a lane is closed. And the one about the emergency vehicles. You complain about crowded roads and heavy traffic and traffic jams, YET you yourselves won't allow traffic to flow. So why are you complaining. And again, you complain about how drivers are viewed by the general public yet, you yourself act like an arse just because. And then you complain about money. Do you want to know whose the blame for your inability to make money, O alpha and omega, center of the tinny universe?

Unfortunately, it seems you rarely get a reply on the CB.

That's awesome. I had that coming.

There are particular land marks hard to miss around the USA. Sometimes a mile marker in the video is enough for me to doublecheck my guess on google earth and presto there it be. But many times I won't know Illinois from Ohio if you shot a video in that part of the USA

When we got out, there was some talk about how Drivers were giving the Shop Mechanic ulcers because the presence of the sick truck inside the shop is causing that driver's dispatch to go crazy. "You fixed yet?" No. "When" Don't know" Ask etc wash repeat etc. If you are not careful you might find yourself thrown out of the shop for pesting them. What you really want to do is tell dispatch if they have that much time to call, they can call the shop boss and find out from the horses mouth. Im going to find a room and let you know when she is fixed if you don't already know.
