I delivered at 0700, so of course my pick up was scheduled for 1700. The best part: it delivers Monday at 1200...390 miles from the p/u. It's funny...I don't remember our trucks saying "Swift" on the side of them...

Arrived at the Fargo yard at 0644. 0715 truck rolled into the shop for a service. APU also was due for service. Clutch adjusted rolled over to Bauer tire repaired. Pulled out for Idaho at 1100. Still got in close to 600 miles today.
@Oor will they remburse me for 12 bungee cords to use on tire chains.

I got this 2 pu 1 del from the DFW area to Danville, IL. for Sunday night. Then a Monday morning Minooka pu headed for a Tuesday delivery in Newport MN. I didn't bug Chad about a Newport load because it was getting very close to quitting time for Fargo when I found out I was headed for the cities...I figured he had a stressful enough week covering for Ashley's time off...Gawd I hope she doesn't offer me a west load...I have seen enough snow and ice for this season...

You have to go north to avoid the snow. It's too cold to snow

I've seen my share of the white stuff in ND, MN, WI and IL this year...I don't want to go any further north than that...I don't speak fluent Canadian...:D

We mostly get the Aberdeen loads out of Newport, don't we?
