I'm not, it's ALMOST like I still don't have a truck... Making what I made as a roll off driver after expenses.. I have been accepted by a few companies, just not my truck.... Sigh.....

I am a very firm believer in getting a flue shot every year. Wasn't always that way. Years ago, in the truck, sick as hell, chest killing me, began coughing up blood. Got pneumonia ended up in ICU for several days.

finally got out of hospital, just wasn't getting better, went back, they ended up doing a thoracotomy. That's where they cut you, break your ribs, stick a scoop in your lung cavity and scoop out the abscess.

I still hate doctors and drag my feet going to them. But a word of advice, if you begin to cough up blood "DO NOT tell your wife it's just red cough syrup" as my Dr told me, a penicillin in my butt early on would have saved me a lot of time and money.

So just curious where do you guys stand on getting flue shots. I guess it's been a ruff year for the flue, get better soon @TruckerPete1990

Edit- it used to be, if you were in Louisville when Mercer was giving flue shots to the office workers, you could get one also. I assume it's the same today.

I have only run 1 load for Mercer and I I did not even begin to read any of this thread...but...FWIW Mercer has the most pleasant lady brokers in the world! They all just sound super nice and chill and know what they are talking about! (This comment is based on me dealing with 100's of brokers all over the country!)

I get one every year. This year they gave me a phnomia ( na Moan ya?) Shot at the same time and it kicked my butt for 3 days. Come to find out you don't get two at the same time.
