It also depends on elogs or paper. Now that I have been forced to use elogs 6-700 hundred is max for me. Most days I miss my paper logs.

    KMac Thanks this.

I try to get 700 miles on my "drive days" it's when you drop your load go through bs to pick up next one then reset and haul ### all day so you'll have enough hours left at delivery to grab you another load and hold the air horn while you're merging on the highway... Im governed at 68. The only reason i cant hit that 700 is simply because it aint a truck stop near that 700 mile marker it'll either be 20 miles close or 20 miles too #### far. Ive gotten 695 miles on a feather load and had 31 minutes left to drive a truck i think that was montana to prewitt new mexico or something i cant remember. Tomorrow im going from el paso to who cares oklahoma and its 697 miles

So long as I'm not delayed by slow ### shippers and receivers I can easily log 650. My best was 696 while I was with tmc taking a load out to mountain view California from Jefferson city. Got it there 2 full days early and was able to get another reset in.

Wait? If you are breaking the rules on elogs (you posted it in your picture). What did you do on paper? I realize that everyone thinks that these rules are only for trucking. But they deal with ALL transportation. And on your day in question, what happened to your PTI?

Not trying to start a battle, just asking.

And less then 15 on his post. The pre is ok (assuming he isn't in one of the 6). But...... I still haven't seen a law change about the post.

I'm just glad I DO NOT have to run like that unless I choose to. And when I choose to I'm making bank. But I could never run like that for .30¢ (or for that matter, less then $2) a mile.

I try to average close to 10 hours a day times 7 and take the 8th day off. I get paid on a 7 day schedule, not an 8 day schedule. miles.jpg
