Don't get me wrong I'm not mad, my miles are good I was just saying it's starting to get annoying is all. Do you always call the dispatcher for your delivery area before you deliver to see what loads you might be able to get?

If you don't mind me asking what do you say? The only people I ever contact ahead of time are Nick and Ashley and I just ask them to add me to their list for a load on a certain date.

I just tell them what city date and my appointment time. Tell them I am available when empty. Short and sweet

    Holo989 and mattbh23 Thank this.

When contacting dispatch ahead of time, I try to include an estimate on what my hours situation will most likely look like after I deliver. That goes for total hours and my 14 hour clock. Also if you know a good reload regularly picks up near by, feel free to ask if it might be available.

    mattbh23 and Xeres63 Thank this.

As soon as you get a load, start working on the next one.

But, if the shippers ain't shipping and the receivers ain't receiving, there's not much dispatch can do about it.

    Welcome to trucking.

So far, so good. Got my first run done without any issues. Heading back North t and Burns, MN.

Does anyone know if the Pepsi S&D in Grand Prairie loads early? Also any general helpful info on this shipper.
    Thanks in advance.

    mattbh23 Thanks this.
