I need to buy a tablet.. Already got a Verizon jet-pack to use for a hotspot..

 

Unless you have unlimited data. They typically don't with unlimited data plans because they don't want you using it to pirate movies, music, etc.

 

I have unlimited data & I tether my phone to my laptop all the time for internet but that's through an app not through Sprint, so to speak. Sprint has a tether option but it's extra so I use the app.

But it's only needed to transfer info to Mercer right? Sorry for the questions, I'm used to Qualcomm.

Yep its almost no data usage to send the log at the end of the day. Hey what app do you use?

 

Looks like I can get 1GB for $10 a month or 2 gigs for $20 for my hotspot. May just get another line because the tablet will probably be used for more than just elogs.

 

@spyder7723 Easy tether pro. The regular easy tether is free but you can't get onto secured site. The pro version is $10 one time. I've transferred it to my last two phones.

 

Certainly better than the 10$ a month sprint wants.

 

Yeah, I'd use 1 gig pretty quick. I use about 20 gigs a month & my wife uses 20-30 gigs a month. We get our money's worth.
