The guy was at Fargo yard with the mobile washing truck so I got my washed too. The yard was actually dry and then wake up to about 3 inches of snow. 200 miles later truck looks like it never even got washed.

 

Trucks have ezpass for tolls and weigh stations. Normally run the toll roads if that is fastest route or you just need the parking. Trucks for what you are looking at should be a 587 Pete with all the amenities but higher mileage, as the OTR trucks get moved down the fleet food chain and end up in that division. They may be starting to move the 579's down soon. As for pay, you'd have to talk to recruiting, I have no current info.

 

I get to deliver to a freaking cave tomorrow morning! Lanter Distribution in Lenexa, KS. Is there on site parking? I see a small lot, but not sure if I can park there. It's just a parking lot out in the middle of nowhere by the looks of Google Maps lol but you can see you enter into the ground. Not gonna lie... I'm very excited!

 

There is a staging area just out side the cave entrance. Slide your tandems all the way forward before entering the caves. Enjoy, pretty cool place.

Sitting at the Red Roof Inn in Fargo. I start orientation tomorrow. I'm new to trucking, I've been doing drafting/design for the last 20 years and just needed a change. Can't wait to get started!
