My husband is considering becoming an owner operator through Werner any suggestions
-
Im in the 48 state division right now and everyone is going crazy because the dispatchers and load planners have basically stopped functioning.
I was actually considering becoming an owner operator, but nearly every driver Ive talked to has had some sort of behavioral problem from dispatch. -
Look at other companies. Celadon, Landstar. Don't drive O/o for Werner, there's no money to be made by drivers with this company.

Dude there are so many better options out there to drive Owner operator. Call up Celadon recruiting. You can get a truck for 0 down, no payments for 17 days, all repairs done within first 30 days are free, and they have percentage pay. Texas drivers get 70% of the load. Werner is not a driver company, they don't give a #### no matter how much they tell you. I laugh when I see a million miler with Werner. Kudos on a million safe miles but sticking with Werner? Must be a few screws loose. Werner has grown into a ginormous business and takes its drivers for granted. We are not the priority to them. Move on...Werner is an entry level job, be ambitious and further your career. 30cpm lmao we're getting chump change while they build hotels and buy more trucks and hire more non-driver employees and do everything without the drivers in mind...just sickening.
