It's similar to the Prime, Inc program, but the number of students is much smaller. You might want to ask direct questions to get the answers you are looking for. I looked into Jim Palmer, one of the Wilson Logistics/Wil-Trans companies. There are a couple or three members on the board that work for Jim Palmer. I think @supertrkr43 and @chaseme67 are there now.

Wiltrans is a very good small intimate company. Intimate meaning as a driver if you call into dispatch twice they know your first name for as long as yiur employed there. Darrell Wilson is a great guy I know him personally. You'll be pulling Prime freight because gets all his work exclusively from Prime Logistics. Good way to start out instead of being with the "Mega Carrier". As far as the training goes your going to have the same itinerary and share the same orientation classes as the Prime PSD's. The only difference is that your name tag will say WilTrans on it.

Thank you both for the replies. Very informative. Do you have any information the miles one could expect to get post-training?

Darrell follows the same exact business model as Rob Lowe of Prime. I'm pretty sure its you test when your PSD trainer feels your ready and you feel confident, and you do 30,000 miles in the TNT stage.

Almost ever company says they average 2500 miles per week. My dealings with JPT convinced me what they tell you is pretty reliable. "Big company freight with small company atmosphere."
