32 hours and counting. And yet if you were trying to get a 34 you wouldn't be able to.

Heading to OKC for a week off, and do the tax thing. Left out of the yard, got a couple of miles down the road, and it dawned on me, that I had forgot all my tax crap. *sighs*

    Least I caught it.

In Jean NV, traffic is backed up 12 miles before Primm, so I stopped to save my hours.
    Every Sunday the same problem...
3 drops tomorrow in greater L.A. area, always fun

Brad, I wouldn't worry about the late load, you only can do what you can do ;)
    Don't forget the layover

    Thank you sir Thomas !
And bill said I would be compensated for my time.
After my move back to Omaha from Montana 1.5 years I went with a carrier there who made promises they didn't deliver on that I stayed with for a year ..at the end it was obvious things were not going to change and I got bills to pay so I came here after having read how much the company had improved .
Its not perfect by any means and it's been a rocky road so far and we have had our bouts that have almost made me throw in the towel but after I cool off I ask myself now what ?
And where am I going to get the benefits we have ?
Or a dam near new truck governed at 70 .

Trailers that an owner OP would be proud to pull ?
Don't have to chase my paycheck or beg for detention pay.
They leave me alone when I'm home .
    Great shop.
    Etc etc .
No it's not perfect but we have a GM here that has driven , that listens and strives to improve our life .
How many managers do you send a text to and get a reply ? ...very few .
I for one am tired of changing jobs and am going try my best to stay here because I see a future here not a dead end job .

Hope things will improve for you soon, you're start wasn't the best and the time of the year is a bit slow. I started in November and struggled till April-May, then I had my two cataract surgeries and needed some time off. The company was really good in getting me home, whenever I had an appointment I was home.
Loads and trips have improved since last year, but there were also some weeks and trips that suck.

And I think Brent is listening what we drivers say, not like other companies.
And he's glad to have a good driver like you, it's so hard to find the right people.
I'm a bit shocked about the damages on the new trailers, seems we need more good drivers

Never had to worry about my paycheck, always on time and 99% correct. Nothing serious at all.

Trying to sleep now, hate it to go to bed so early but try to be in L.A. at 06:00 for my first drop.

    bzinger Thanks this.
