I was reading their guideline and it says we can't bring anyone with a medical condition. The problem is a pregnancy is a medical condition on who you ask. Some say it is while others say it can cause a medical condition to occur.

Probably depends on how far along she is.

You will probably be denied the ability to transport preg wife. Out of abundance of caution. But the answer as Mystic stated lies with your Ternimal Manager not here.

I would take as much of OTR as you can now, once that baby shows up your days might be numbered.

If you do get allowed to take wife along, use this time to show her up front what you deal with OTR so that when the baby comes and she feels alone with it with all the chores with it she will be at least understanding what you are dealing with.

Personally I would not take her as preg. Something might come along and put her into Labor depending on where she is in the gestation period.

My wife drove team with me while pregnant. I believe she got off the truck at 28 weeks. We were not OTR though.

I'm just wondering what you would do if she needed to get to a hospital quickly for some reason, and you were in the middle of nowhere.

And you can't exactly drive a tractor/trailer rig in to the emergency entrance - anywhere!

Wouldn't you ask her doctor first? THEN your carrier? Then your wife how she plans on using the restroom every 20 minutes when you're fighting a tight delivery window?

I think that's a better way to go about it. No?

Add to that there are some viciously rough stretches of road we travel that could cause any number of death threatening problems for the baby to say nothing of the risk to your wife. This has to be one of the stupidest, most irresponsible parenting questions I've seen in a very long time. Take your wife's ob-gyn for a ride across I-10 in Louisiana and see what an actual smart person thinks of this idea.
