Well I am officially a Magnuminion again. Survived the 3.5 day "death by video" torture session and I've received my truck assignment, now I'm just waiting for the shop to finish up a few minor issues. Still need to provision the M.S.S Bonnie Blue and get my Letter of Marque from Nick before I can go plunder the shipping lanes. Shiny side up and 'tween the ditches, TALLYHO!

Had a pretty good experience with San Antonio Thermo King today. In at 0800 and out by 1100. Fuse panel on apu had corroded to the point it wasn't getting connection through 50 amp fuse. They replaced unit with a newer design and sent me down the road. Pretty nice people. Then went to Clays Radio Shop over by the Petro here and had my stock Cobra tuned. Done there in 45 minutes. Nice people there too. San Antonio my be my favorite place in Texas now.

I actually pondered it while driving, then typed it out quick on a 30 min break.

Picked up at Newport Cold and ran over to the CR yard to get PM done. Left there did a 10 at the house and got here to my delivery here in Aberdeen...have an appointment at the Pete store to get my truck batteries looked at. Started giving me codes and a solid stop light.

After that picking up at PPG in Dover going back up to Aurora.

I've been spoiled for the past week. TN to UT, then ID back to TN. Stellar driving conditions. Minimal traffic, beautiful weather, wonderful scenery. Everybody should try trucking at some point in their life.

I'd also vote to do away with it, given the chance. From what I understand, some companies give you the option of daily or weekly pay. Some even can pay within hours of turning in paperwork. I'm sure there are downsides to it. I wonder what it takes to implement that.

Edit: sorry, I edited this after it was quoted!
