I live in the Umpqua Valley of Oregon. When and if I retire, I'm staying right here. It's about as good as it gets, for me anyways.

The OP can always do casual driving for someone else if he chooses. There's options right out of the Weed area. Or he can start a recreational marijuana business right there out of Weed.

You talking about apartment rental prices? Couldn't be too shocking as my "Denver let-down". $800-$1000/mo for a 1bd/1ba on the dumpy side of Aurora. Then again, I've been spoiled with some unreal, $400-$500/mo apartment rents in eastern NM. As for my aspirations for a metro like Phoenix, I've seen some decent stuff not too far from the city action for $400-$600/mo.
Again, I'm an apartment dweller and single-family house is far away from my mind.

Ha. There's "farms" cropping up all over the place in this neck of the woods. I'm about 100 miles from Scooters location.

What's the diff from PNW and PNWET? Just seriously wondering; haven't been to Cali since I hauled for FedEx/Linehaul from CMH to SAC about 17 years ago . . . . ( ?? )

ps: They RAID a lot of farms here in Ohio, as well...... is what it is. Gotta be the brightest crayon in the box, and NOT "Dandelion!"

No difference, the pacific northwest is the Pacific Northwet. ;-) Oregon Washington and the most northern part of California. The green leafy substance is legit here. Big $ for the 2 states. There putting in a big farm in about 10 miles from my place. Whatever.

New Mexico has been a experience I tell you. Want a parking space? Pull off the pavement anywhere outside of town limits when it's dry and set. Just carry rocks in pockets for the rattlers possibly.

I might take another look at that state but after seeing some of the more poorer people there, Im not so sure.
