I'm not assuming ####. I don't pay attention to facebook rants. I'm taking the word of people i have known for years, such as @cjindatruck that they can't even select a city or state to do an origin point search. Takes several days to get that problem resolved and then they cant scroll down the load list, or across to see the pay. And when they call the work around they are given is "just use the matched loads". Days go by when the board is for all purposes not usable at all for them. It gets fixed and then something else breaks and the cycle repeats.

I love mercer as much as anyone but the truth is they blew this big time. And the whole 'its no big deal' attitude the it department have towards the folks using apple devices is flat out inexcusable.

My issue was far more than not being able to access preferences. The issue started the day the old board went offline. It took two weeks of convincing people I wasn't inept. By chance I had a floater, & I showed the floater what was going on after calling IT. Nothing changed! By chance another floater gave me the number to a person that helped get me in touch with IT again, and this IT person fixed the issue. Again, my point in quoting you was simple, my problem may have been resolved right away if not for the phrase "it works for me". I'm no IT genius, but I know that everyone is not running the same software versions, so what you see that works, may not work for others.

Really? The parameters of the new server dictate what format the columns are in on your screen and how large a space they take up? The new server dictated that half your screen is taken up with large columns showing if its a top 100 customer and if it requires a twic card(which you have to get to even be leased here). The new server dictated that the far left column lasts which agency had the load pushing more important columns, such as the pay so far to the right you can't fit both distance from origin, length of haul, or $/mile on the screen so habe to constant scroll back and forth. The server did that huh? Seriously? Xxx, you're my friend but Jesus man put the koolaid down for a minute.

Wow, we seem to be on the same page, it's almost scary!!
To add to your post: Typically when new software or hardware is introduced it's backwards compatible. A upgrade usually means more functionality, not less. I'm pretty sure the hardware didn't dictate the change in terminology, going from "matched, will commit, & accepted", to "available, matched", & "nothing", is not due to a hardware change.

Plain and simple, the server switch should have been pushed back until the new board was working across all common devices and operating systems. Both tablets and smart phones of different makes and computers.

Right. Changing it from matched committed and refused to red green and blue was not dictated by a server switch. It was solely made by a computer geek that thinks that's preferable because it's what he wants to see. It's his baby and 2 years from now when he is looking to move up he can put it on his resume and say i made this in my image. All software people do this. Instead of simply fixing things that are broken they completely change the entire design of said software. Their way is the best and that's all there is to it. So freaking arrogant with that god complex they manage to make me look humble.

I agree 100%. I love technology, I'm all for it. I hope they upgrade more, because their software was dated. But they need to do it right, or provide the answer to issues more effectively.

Vang and i agree on something. The two of us constantly argue and basically can't stand each other but are in full agreement and thinking alike on this topic.

That should tell ya how bad the implementation of the new load board has been.

In all seriousness though, If you or anyone one here is having issues that you can't seem to get resolved, I can PM you the name of the guy at Mercer that took my issue seriously, walked over to IT, and got me fixed up!
