Has cj sent a help request to bill Hewitt? Has he contacted him directly ? But in your case it very well could have been solved by changing security certificates. But was your issue solved before old load board went away? And the coloured dots do the exact same thing as the words , smaller and less space, just a color code instead of words , and the top 100 was removed several weeks ago. How does anyone like the feature of seeing the per mile rate with dh included, or being able to search by state, agent, etc from one page? Has the user manual emailed helped anyone? This has been a big change no doubt.

So exactly what problems are you having? Does it work ? Or is it the mobile version is more cumbersome? Some exact specifics would be helpful.

These IT guys are dumb. They can't even fix my mobile app... They give me the run around lol.

 

That's helpful, lol. what's the exact problem with your mobile app? Is it just having an old load left on there? Which IT person have you spoken to?

 

Also on the bulletin board on new load board , there is an explanation of why the mobile , non mobile change was done. And also about the scrolling issue and bouncy screen. The bulletin board has info that is often relevant.

 

Having just started with Mercer I have no idea if the load board is working properly or not cause I have nothing to compare it to. It appears to be working fine. I don't pay much attention to the colored dots because my coordinator basically makes the dots change color. Lol. I haven't physically refused any loads & I don't know how to match any loads other than my search settings, origin city, radius, pick up date, & min rate. At that point I'm assuming everything I'm seeing are loads I'm matched to by my preferences. But I really don't know. Very few loads have the "matched" dot though.

With that being said, I've only used my phone & tablet to search the board. I haven't pulled out my laptop to use it yet.

 

Two steps forward, one step back. Still better than the old phone rooms and a note pad. Call me back in an hour. LOL

The truck owners have always been one of Mercers top priorities, as long as that does not change you guys will be ok.

Normally i agree with you but on this one i have to disagree. Yes it's usable for me, even if i think the layout completely blows. But for many its been broken beyond usable. The apple guys especially so. And we aren't taking about it being broken for a couple hours. But constant breaks that lasts days.

Simply put, it was not properly beta tested and was released way before it wad ready to be. Yes the servers needed updated and i get that they couldn't simply roll the old board into the new servers, I'm not a tech guru so i don't understand why, but i take they're word for it. But do i believe the servers had to be changed right then and not pushed back till this board was functioning properly? Not at all.

My guess is that they did not realize just how vital a tool the board is for so many folks so they didn't realize how important it is that it be functioning for everyone. Everyone is not just the younger tech savvy guys that can troubleshoot their issues, but also includes those like me that are tech savvy just enough to get in trouble, and those that are so tech illiterate that they make me look like bill gates writing up an operating system in my garage.
