I can not see a lease that stands to provide long term profit for the leasee. I have read Schneider's, (now dead) Arrow trucking and Werner's. Admitetdly it was a few years ago, however, I doubt there has been material changes to trucking leases. So, why not look at that lease. Look at what the costs are for that particular lease. Stay a company driver, save the amount that the lease charges the driver and save it. You can place a sizable down payment on a truck, truely own it and you will be better off.

I've worked for JCT for 5 months back in 2009...... worst company to work for! My problem wasn't about miles, it was about the used trucks they force on you!! I ended up with a truck I didn't want because there wasn't much of a selection to begin with and it was a crapper!! Long story short..... the truck spent more time in the shop than it did on the road making money! I told each and every time i took it in about the problem i had and nobody could seem to figure out how to fix the problem! There was one guy in that JCT shop who always said "yeah i know what the problem is"...... he didn't know ####. Old guy who wore glasses and a hat backwards!! Any money i did made went to the truck! I only made 1 paycheck to myself for $800 a month. I called the lease lady so many times and left messages because i wanted another truck, she NEVER called me back!!! So finally i got tired of the b.s. I emptied my truck when i drive by my house and when i got back to the JCT yard, i walked into that lease lady office and told her i was turning in my truck! But before i said that, she was like "oh you want a newer truck, well let's see what we can do for you". Too late lady, she should have called me back after leaving like 20 messages before..... what she don't know how to pick up a phone and call back??? Bottom line..... they escorted me off their property and i had to wait out front for a cab!!! going back to the beginning of this story..... when i got that truck, they tried to hide a damaged bumper on it by gluing the inside brackets so that when i did the initial inspection, i thought nothing of it until i drove off back to the hotel to get my stuff. That's when i notice the bumper when leaning off closer to the ground, when i went back to the yard, i told them about it and that i wanted to add that to my inspection report..... well..... somehow nobody could find those reports that were turned in and that the office manager said "don't worry about it, we will add it in for you when we find it". They never did!!! So when i was suppose to get back my maintenance account money...... they kept it and said that i had to pay for the damage to that bumper which cost an estimated $800 to fix!! Total b.s!!! I know #### well they pocketed the money and glued that bumper right back on for the next sucker to take advantage of. If they did it to me, they will do it to someone else!! Their shop is a scam, they charged me for a problem they could not fix!!

 

Ive just started at JCT and you guys are scary. So far they are better then Hirschbach

If you think there is a good trucking company out there you are on crack .all trucking company's are free labor scabs. There is soo much money being moved around in this country ,nobody should have to sit on loading dock for free. This industry so two faced it makes me sick .for pay.....your unskilled #### labor that dosnt need compensation. For safety ....well that's different, now you are a great professional. ,they should wright on back of all trailers. Unskilled drivers needed

 

I'm just like you ,I've told a lot of trucking company's in the past to go screw them selves. I feel really good when I do this. I dream of a truckers strike someday

Something tells me something happened in the "lease lady"s" office that caused them to escort you off the property.
