Yes it is. As long as it is more than what you would earn doing the same job for someone else, you're good. If you can't manage to pay yourself even a company drivers wage then why are you doing it?

I'd have made about 15k to 20k more working a top job like publix or some good paying ltl outfit. But i doubt they would have let me take off 6 months of the year. Now this year rates are much higher and i will work a lot more so that when rates fall back down i can go back to staying home 6 months a year.

 

At least he's not a member of the royal family of Nigeria.....
