A big air compressor and gun would be nice, but a 3/4 inch breaker bar and 5 feet of pipe gets those tires of.

I had to replace the muffler on mine last week. $51 at KW, I came out of there with it on my shoulder, thanking the lord I don't have one of those DPF trucks.

Look into a walker or donaldson flow through muffler. They cost a little more but it's a big improvement in power and fuel economy. Those factory mufflers are very restrictive.

As luck would have it, the fifth wheel is adjusted to the max, but a quick look on line and the rebuild kits are sub $250. Add in some cradle bushings and a steam cleaner rental and I might in for less than $400....we'll see.

I got a 12 ton bottle jack from harbor freight, but it's the low profile one... I think it was 30 or 40 bucks, fits into those tight spots where a standard one can't, and it fits nicely in the side box.

30 hours of idling? I doubt my truck has idled 30 hours since the day I bought it. LOL. I do hope it's just from that tho. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.
