No I-95 corridor for me! I had a short load to South Dakota yesterday. On my way now to west Texas with enzymes, then back to Nebraska for another load of the same stuff heading to Indiana. That's my week right there.

Had to down to San Antonio to unload that junk grease at someone who would take it. Really irritating location. Hard to get to and had to deal with scaling in and out at a 3rd party location. And of course my dispatch puts me on a run 20 miles down the road.
Why is this a problem?
Because NOBODY wants to washout a grease load except big name facilities that can treat their own water. Which means driving back to waxahachie or Houston then coming back. I choose waxahachie even though it was a little farther because they are usually quicker. My washes in Houston have been 10 hours+
5 hours later mine is done, but I can't make it back in time, so 10 hour break...sigh.
I can't claim detention and they dont pay me for tankwashes and they can't fathom why I get upset when They put these grease and polymer loads on me. They think every tankwash takes an hour with every product. -
I'm driving 510 miles empty from Keasby to Chesapeake chemical at ridgeway va, noon load time.. been along nite and still got along half a day to go.. it sounded good but now my 2 hr sleep kicking my butt

I love going to these little mom and pop meth farms.. that's just what I call them, the really small chemical company's.. be like 2 or 3 tanks in the woods where u get loaded.. nicest people and it's always quick
Bud A. and slim shady Thank this. -
Never hauled meth, what lind of placard do you need?
RockinChair, Bud A., G13Tomcat and 2 others Thank this. -
They usually don't like to placard the meth when transported.. they keep it on the hush hush and just call it Nalco 7480 or something like that
Bud A., slim shady and ncdriver1 Thank this. -
ChicagoJohn Thanks this.
