Loading now in Washington Drluvering in Cheyenne on Friday. then to Laramie pick up a chemical load going to the oil patch

 

Went to drop my empty at a customer in Lakeland FL...on I-4 it was 97 degrees.

Weather happens all day every day and different in all places....

 

Yea, but when there is talk about closing roads in May because of snow(other than WY I mean), it's kinda unusual.

 

No doubt... but there is crazy weather everywhere... I am under a severe thunder storm warning and tornado watch in Wisconsin right now...
Truck is rocking me to sleep tonight....

 

Thought I was going to get blown over on I70 in Ohio today.

 

Maybe. Maybe not.

Once I got down to Idaho Falls, hit better weather and had a beautiful drive across on US-26 through the Tetons, then down US-189/191 to Rock Springs. Very scenic along the Snake and Hoback River. Broke my altitude record too.High point was elev. 7,950.

1-2 feet forecast for I-80 between Laramie and Cheyenne tonight thru tomorrow. We'll see how it goes in the morning.

 

Praise Jesus I made it through the snow!!!!! Parked down the street from my delivery in Springville, then deadheading back up to ID to get loaded going east. Seeing, "ice and snow take it slow signs" in May made me cringe.

At least I didn't have to deal with tarnodoes today. Get a call from another magnum driver saying he had to pull over in Wisconsin because one was coming through Black River Falls.

 

It wasn't bad first part of this AM, touch and go in some places.

 

Let me know I please because I have to stop at the 106 tomorrow because I have no hours in my 70 then head in at 0100 to make my 0600 deluvery
