Where do you guys take breaks? Lot of times dangerous and nasty stuff is transported, just wondering what kinda places you guys choose to take brakes. Do chemical plants provide secure parking and let you take a break on their property?

 

I prefer to take my 10s and 34s at the fuel island

I haul local / intrastate..... can't help you there. Home daily, but the plants i pick up and deliver to, nope on parking and breaks... asphalt gigs.

I don't haul hazmat, although you definitely don't want to ingest some of the stuff I haul since it is used in the process of making good old 1170. I have parked at one plant (when my pump was busted), but usually I park at the usual places: truck stops, rest areas, Walmarts (not often).

More importantly, I try really hard to avoid parking next to reefers and cattle pots.
