The Hunt shop in Omaha has always been a good one for me...that and Deland, FL arer the 2 best as far as I am concerned.

I needed an A service and the Opti Idle doesn't always start the motor, so they had it in the shop for 6 hours and nobody was working on it or any trucks later in the afternoon, Because they are training new mechanics and were doing bookwork????
And I needed to go to sleep so I could wake up at 1:30 to deliver 30 miles away :(
And the shop tard didn't think I needed any sleep to drive 20 miles. Could he think that was all I was going to do today?

So I call Lincoln and tell them to tcall the load or call the shop and have them give me the truck... 15 minutes later they brought me the keys.
And my trailer sat there 9.5 hours needing a T1 and they didn't get to that..
But I made it back to my favorite casino with the$10 Trucker buffet :)

ncmickey, 4mer trucker and Deadwood Thank this.

Deland was good until they started cutting back shifts, then a lot of the mechanics adopted the "who gives a flying fornication" attitude. For me, Council Bluffs was the best until it closed. Columbus wasn't bad as long as that pony tailed punk of a night shift foreman wasn't on duty. I actually had good luck with "Walter" in the KC shop...once you figured out he was just grumpy naturally, and not p/o'd at you, he was easy to get along with.
